Jungle Book

Known as the 'heart of India,' Madhya Pradesh is home to a large tribal population, which has been largely cut off from mainstream development. It is also India's most forested state and abundant with tiger sanctuaries and ancient temples, making it a perfect backdrop to a Glorious Motorcycle Adventure.

This tour takes you well off the beaten track into the tribal, forested heartland of central India. We explore the Dadhikar valley in the east of Rajasthan before heading south to the Art Deco palace at Karauli. From here to the culturally fascinating city of Gwalior where we have a taste of Indian luxury at the Usha Kiran Palace hotel. We venture further south to the peaceful, holy town of Orchha which sits on the banks fo the beautiful river Betwa. We then head east to the temples of Kajaroaho before enjoying 5 days' venturing through the jungles and tribal villages of south eastern Madya Pradesh. Expect forest lodges, tiger spotting, delicious local cuisine and an abundance of incredible roads. We reach heady Varanassi at the end of our trip together. This tour is a true adventure which provides a rare glimpse into the hidden natural and cultural wonders that inspired Kipling's Jungle Book.
